I am so amazed with this video of little Sophie sitting on Steve’s head!

She is such a darling kitten, isn’t she? I think Sophie is a Main Coon, just like our Murchyk. She is going to be a big kitty!

A cat on a next video went even further than Sophie – as you can see, he is not only hugging, but also kissing his human friend. So cute! Please enjoy the video: 

Standing Up Cats

Oh boy, it’s almost 2:00 a.m. right now, but I am still up, and what do you think I am doing that late? I just cannot give up watching cat videos on YouTube.
The latest and the cutest my finds are standing up cats: something caught their attention and they are standing up for a minute or two just like humans. I remember our Murchyk cat was standing like this few times, but… Need to be very fast and always have a camera ready to take a movie or at least a picture. My husband and I weren’t fast enough, so… In this case, I want to share with you other people’s videos of standing up cat – well, these videos are too cute not to share. So, here we go – standing up kitties!

Cat and iPad

iPad nowadays is kind of a virtual catnip for cats. There are lots of excited cat games APPs available to buy for happy iPad/cat owners, and there are plenty of “cat and iPad” videos on YouTube. I want to share with you few of them which I like the best. Here is a first one - this game call “Enjoy with cat”:

As you can see, cat even can play piano on iPad!

I also read whole bunch of comments to each of those iPad/cats videos. Some of them made me smile, like “Ipad so far is the most expensive cat toy” or “They should make a catPad.” Also, I found out that lot of viewers of “cat and iPad” videos worry about the same thing I do: how do you protect your tablet screen against cat’s scratches? So, I started to learn more about this issue, and after all the info I dug online, it turned out that cat’s scratches on iPad not an issue at all. For example, that’s what I found at Yahoo!Answers, from personal experience of users with cats and iPads, “The cats won't usually be able to scratch the glossy screen of the iPad when stepping, touching, tapping the screen because their claws are retracted when not needed… I have 16 cats and 2 dogs. None of the cats scratches any of the iPad and iPhone screens around here even when stepping on them.”
Well, looks like it nothing to worry about. Why do I worry, anyway? I don’t have an iPad – yet. But I have a cat! My beloved Murchyk, whom I love so much! Actually, my husband and I were joking the other day that we should get an iPad – just for our Murchyk :) Of course, it was a joke, but, seriously, we were talking also: when we will finally decide to bring a touch screen technology into our house, we have to get a good screen protector as well – just to make sure, everything is okay.

Our Murchyk Cat and Boxes – Inspired by Maru

Watching a one of my favorite cat videos - Maru is playing with boxes (Maru is a Scottish Fold cat from Japan; he is a one of the most famous cats on YouTube) – I was thinking: wait, it’s seem to me that I have a picture of my Murchyk cat, doing the same thing, when he was a kitten! So, I looked through my archives and I found it! Yes! My beloved Murchyk is playing with a Zrii box, here is the picture:

Well, Murchyk is a big cat now, he is one and half years old and he is very furry (most likely, he is a Main Coon), but I still curios if he is going to fit in one of those boxes. So, Murchyk, let’s try!

And he did, and he still fit! Yay! I couldn’t believe it! So, here is a picture I took just recently – Murchyk is playing with a soda box:

Meet Maru – One of the Most Famous Cats on YouTube

I have to share with you this video of Maru, which is one of my favorite cat videos on YouTube:

Maru is a cat from Japan and he made to the Top 10 of the most famous cats on YouTube, according to the MotherNature Network. This particular video of Maru which I put in my YouTube favorites about three years ago, already got more then 12 millions views. I love Maru – he is such a darling cat!
