Hank the Cat for Senate

Well, well, well… I think it is a first time in American history when cat is running for Senate!
So, meet Hank the cat – he is on a picture above. Hank is beautiful Main Coon (the same breed with our Murchyk), born in 2003, which means, he is 52 by cat years. Absolutely mature fellow!
He is not representing any political party – he is an independent candidate. Hank is running for the Virginia state’s open Senate seat. His competitors are former Governors George Allen (Respublican) and Tim Kaine (Democrat).
Hank is actually stray cat by his birth; now he lives a happy life with his owner Anthony Roberts.
Hank’s election campaign is quite impressive: he got a website, a Facebook page and a Twitter account.
“Although Hank has garnered a great deal of support, he still faces one large political hurdle: Current regulations prohibit animals from serving in Congress. But if a dog can serve as mayor a Kentucky town, surely it’s only a matter of time until we have a senator with whiskers”, the Mother Nature Network said.
As I cat person, I wish all the Good Luck in the world to Hank! I love this kitty!
And here is Hank’s promotional video:
